    The overall winner was a beautiful photograph but some of the others seemed to be a bit heavy handed with the Photoshop or whatever they use these days to tinker with the colours.

    I agree @B3. I've only looked at the overall winner and the Beautiful Gardens category so far, but they all seem to have been heavily enhanced.

    The overall winner is stunning.
    Do though wonder how many photographs were taken via a drone?

    Thank you for posting this @Alan Clark2 in Liverpool.  I would gladly display any of these framed on a wall.  My favourite is the view in Derbyshire, but that could be my Northern bias!  I see nothing wrong with enhancing, provided it looks natural, or using drone photography - isn't that part of the artistry?

    I thought they were really good. Photography to this level takes a lot of dedication.
    Post processing has alway been a part of image making - whether PS or in the dark room.

    Beautiful photographs but I have seen some equally beautiful photographs on this forum posted by members keen on photography.  :)

    Some lovely photographs there - the abstract ones are my favourites I think.  Definitely photography as art.   :)

    I loved th a abstract too but some of the 'real life ' photos didn't ring true.
