plant id please

What's this furry leaved plant, please?  I suspect mullein, but I'm not sure.  Also, the plant in the second pic looks similar but its leaves aren't furry.  There's several growing in a group - should I pull or leave? (They are large - at least 30cm side to side)

    I'd say Foxgloves or Primulas depending on the scale  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I'd say mullein for the first pic and foxglove for the second.

    Very odd.
    I cannot see any pics.
    I am at my usual desk top computer.

    I'd agree with you @Uff - the first one isn't the same as the 2nd, and that's the one I was trying to ID. Silly old fool that I am   ;)

    That's very odd silver surfer and Dove. In both of your quoted posts I see the pictures

    Odd I was using Google..no pics.
    Went to Bing..pics there!
    Weird.
    1. Verbascum...with soft hairy leaves....Mullein
    2. Digitalis....Foxglove.

    Thanks all :)  I don't mind foxgloves - would you suggest pulling or leaving the verbascum? @punkdoc @Uff @Fairygirl
