I have, it was about 4 or 5 years ago. They were good quality, however l would say if you're looking for perennials in particular, there are equally good nurseries around  :)

Thanks Annie - what other nurseries would you recommend for perennials?
  • I can recommend

    and

In my experience as a customer, they both stock choice varieties of perennials and supply good quality plants.

Knoll Gardens has an interesting range of perennials, along with grasses.
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.

    .
Have a look at Ballyrobert Nurseries, I have used them a few times, good plants, quick delivery and not too costly carriage charged!

Ballyrobert, Woottens and Burncoose are all excellent, but there are loads of great  nurseries. It will often depend on what you're looking for, and the aforementioned delivery charges.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I have bought excellent plants from Farmyard Nursery in Carmarthenshire and Tortworth Plants in Gloucestershire. I like the fact their plants are typically 2 litres so don’t need cosseting through their first winter and, that size, can soon be divided making them even better value for money. Tortworth’s P&P is quite high but spread over several plants it is still excellent value.
