Yellow leaves on Mimosa

in Plants
Hello. I'm posting on behalf of my elderly mother in law.
She has a mimosa in a pot and the leaves are turning yellow. It has been well cared for but she cannot figure out what is causing this. Does anyone have any advice please? Thank you

They need to be in neutral to acidic soil. Ensure the holes are not blocked and raise off the ground with some pot feet. Soils in pots need grit to aid drainage in case of over watering.
This is one before we lifted the crown so we could walk past and also mow the grass without being mugged.
Yellowing foliage can also mean it's chlorotic so make sure it is watered with rain water if the tap water is hard and that it gets a dose of Epsom salts, 15ml dissolved in 5 litres - used as a foliar spray before being watered into the pot. This will help boost magnesium levels which are essential for plant health. A liquid feed containing sequestered or chelated iron will also help.
