I don't re pot into bigger pots. I do refresh compost, trim roots. I have over 30 and the outer pots are colour co-, ordinated,so that's not an option Sorry, when I put spread their leaves,I meant remove from jar.None of mine are in glass containers. We live fairly near Mcbeans, specialist orchid breeder,(Barcombe) they show at Chelsea etc,and day Dont keep them just in the transparent pots, because it causes root problems and rotting. Mine are still in them then placed in a nice China pot
Got it, Nanny Beach, thank you! How lovely to have over 30 of them. I'm enjoying learning how to best care for an orchid. Is there a website or a book you think is good?
So, if i remove it from the jar, it will be in that rather tiny plastic pot that's currently inside the jar, is that OK for it?
For refreshing compost, would that mean throwing out all the current compost and replacing it all with new?
