The problem is, composts vary batch to batch, the Which trials often highlight this. A brand can do really well one time and be poor a year later. Unfortunately with peat free, this variability seems to have got worse. I have found Melcourt one of the best but it didn't come out that high in the latest trial. I use MPC, but "dilute" with some sand and perlite.
