Please help my aglaonema

Had these aglaonema a couple of years now - they’ve only ever had a maximum of 11-12 leaves, often some go soft soggy yellow and just pull away put new growth appears. They haven’t been in direct light and I don’t over water at all, if anything under water - but leaves never go crispy. Not sure what to do with them. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you 😊

I think two stems in the second pot are definitely gone 😔

UPDATE: posting a new post as I did the other one days ago and it may have got lost… showing the roots as requested by someone…

Plant two - scratched a bit off at bottom and it was white flesh not dry dust like the other one
