Mexican orange blossom spots?

Hello there, does anyone know what these spots are on my Mexican orange blossom? I bought several on an internet garden site and they all came with these spots on last year and haven’t disappeared.
many thanks for any advice!

What size are they [roughly] and are they generally fine apart from that?
If they're a decent size and otherwise healthy, I wouldn't worry too much. No evergreen shrub stays perfect all year round  :)

It could just be a bit of damage caused by hail some weeks or months ago

Yes - bit of insect or weather damage by the look of it.  :)

  • Thank you for your replies! When I bought them it said they were in 5L pots. They had those little spots on them back in October when they arrived. I thought maybe they had been sprayed with something. They seem ok but I’m very new to gardening so not too sure! I think I do over analyse the leaves 😂 Many thanks again 😊

You aren't alone in over analysing potential problems, so don't worry. You'll get better at ignoring all the minor scrapes and dodgy bits as you go along  ;)
It's good that you asked though - because that's far better than spraying with anything and everything before checking what the problem might be, which is what many people do.  :)
