Forgotten garlic

B3B3 Posts: 27,505
I planted a clove probably two or three years ago and lost track of it. Anyway, it's formed a fairly big clump, much in the way of chives. Should I just leave it or split it up?
In London. Keen but lazy.

If you just want to used the leaves/flowers leave it, if you want to get actual garlic then it will need digging up and splitting.

Thank you for replying to my forgotten thread @Skandi 😊
Should I just line them up in a row? When will they be ready?

Well they've already been out over winter so I would say they will be ready in July like normal, But since you will have had to disturb them and I doubt the cloves from last year were very big, you may only get small bulbs. you'll get something though, garlic is tough stuff.
