Phacelia - what to do with it now?

Hello. We sowed phacelia as a green manure on our allotment for the first time last September. See pic of it now. What is best thing to do with it now? Leave it? Strim it? Dig it in? If so when. Looking for the least back breaking option! All this is new to us so any advice gratefully received.

At this time of year you dig it in. I like to leave it to flower, the bees love it, but thats only any good if you don't need the ground yet for growing veg.  It rots down in about four eeks.

Thanks. So if I leave it it might flower later? Or dig it in 4 weeks prior to needing the ground? Could I strim it now and leave it to rot down with no digging?

You would still need to dig the roots in.  If you don't it will definitely flower (and seed for nexy year). I use it in the wild flower patch to attract insects.
