Hi
A conifer in our front garden has just started to droop as per the attached photos. Does anyone have any idea of potential causes or if there is anything we can do please?
Thank you!

The tree still looks green and healthy - this could just be the result of progressive wind damage.  I would use some garden twine or soft coated wire to tie the large upper piece back into the shape of the tree, with discretion so that you can't see it!  Try this also with the lower bits or trim them off closely.  As the tree emerges from dormancy in spring, give it a feed and make sure it is well watered.  These conifers are normally quite robust and should recover.  If there is an accumulation of leaf litter on the branches, remove this carefully at the same time.
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.

It can also be from birds landing, but twine or wire both work well to hold branches in place, providing they aren't broken, in which case you need to cut them off right in at the main trunk. The bits that are hanging right down look beyond repair, but the larger bit top right should be fine tied in.
It won't need anything else - it'll just get on with it, but the bottom section on the left looks a bit faded. It could well be very dry, so you'd need to take a look at that.
They can often manage drought well, until suddenly they can't, but that's more common through spring/summer. The site might generally be quite dry too.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
