Sowing snapdragons

in Plants
I sowed some snapdragon seeds a few weeks ago according to the pack and the GW website, and placed them inside a grow-house with a covered plastic lid. I wondered if anyone’s had any success growing snapdragons from seed this way, as they haven’t germinated yet? Thanks in advance!

It's early to be sowing seed - beginning of January, unless they have proper heat.
Is that really what it said on the packet?

Aquilegias are pretty easy though - and can go out earlier as they're hardy
They might germinate if left - but just keep an eye on them. Dampness is often the biggest enemy for any seed. They'll always be slow to germinate at this time of year in cooler climates, and there's also the risk of them just not germinating at all if they're too wet, and they just rot
Self seeding is a bit different from actively sowing seed too, and depends on your climate and conditions. It's why lots of plants don't readily do it here.
