Plant pots

Since this garden was empty when we moved in, we have bought a large number of plants. Now we have dozens of largish black plastic plant pots. Any ideas for disposal? There used to be a Garden Centre nearby which took them, but they seem to have stopped now. No local groups want them either. Hate to send them to landfill.

    I second freecycle.
I'd have some if you lived near me! I usually buy small plants and grow them on in bigger pots so I've always got plenty of small pots but not enough big ones.

Just don't leave them out when wind is forecast like one of our neighbours did last year :o

    Another vote for Freecyle :)

Sorry, we did try Freecycle. No takers.
Our front gate is  about 100 yards away from the road so no passers-by (except ones up to no good).
    Thanks for the suggestions.

Could you try a local Garden Club, local facebook page or local nursery. My friend runs a small nursery, people leave their larger pots by her gate.

I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
