I'd recommend cutting it back before moving and so sacrificing most or all of this year's fruit, especially if it's a mature bush. That will make it much easier to move, and the plant won't struggle to both make new roots and develop flowers and fruit. You can also try rooting the cuttings (generally easy with currants) as insurance. Prepare the new hole first, then leave as much soil on the roots as you can comfortably carry when you dig the bush up.
If time isn't a factor, and you would prefer to have some fruit later this year, wait until you have harvested the berries and do it then.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
