Totally agree, @KT53. Although I think it is probably unsafe, so are many things that we use all the time [ including some medicines], and in the immortal words of Joe Jackson: "Everything gives you cancer, there's no cure, there's no answer".
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Tobacco is proven beyond reasonable doubt to cause cancer, and yet it's still legal and widely available. I reckon banning it would save more lives than banning glyphosate. I'm not a big fan of weedkiller and certainly not wholesale use on crops that are specially modified to be resistant, but there are circumstances where an effective systemic weedkiller, used carefully, is the best solution, and I can't say that about tobacco.

No we don't, but I think we should be proportionate. Trouble is it's hard to ban the wholesale spraying of modified crops in countries where (perhaps) the workers don't have protective gear without also banning more considered, targeted use.

Why do you think using glyphosate is only important in relation to human life? What about all the micro-organisms, fungae, invertebrates and other lives that depend on healthy soil and plants to thrive and, incidentally, support our lives?

I remember glyphosate being discussed in relation to neurological disorders quite some time ago, with certain professions at greater risk, due to exposure.
