Grow lights

Has anyone bought a grow light from amazon that they would recommend, I’m ideally looking for one I could clip to a gravel tray, but the options on there are overwhelming and it’s so hard to tell which ones will be good!

I have Sunblaster T5s. They work well - I successfully grew a lot of flowering plants under them, some to supplement low natural light and some without any naural light -  but an get a bit hot. I used them extensively last year for the first time in various set ups, but I don't think I quite cracked optimal distance of plant from light.
I am wondering how you intended to clip lights to a gravel tray. Have you seen some that enable this?
  • I use LED, a brand called street lite I think.

They are sold as grow lights, worked very well for me

I've two LED lights from Amazon. A FECIDA 1000W which is a whopper of a light. Don't have a greenhouse so bought a grow tent to start seeds and baby some cuttings this winter and it lives there. It's amazing but can be too powerful if anything. Have a second, smaller multi head Sondiko light which I'm using to cheer up my more dramatic houseplants. If you're just doing a tray or two something like that might suit you! They have a big clasp which attaches to anything.

I have the ikea grow bulb and it’s excellent, but annoyingly they seem to have discontinued it. I’m hoping they bring something back

The sondiko light sounds like what I’m after, thank you!

I was hoping to use one to 'force' a few herbaceous perennials into early growth in spring-- was hoping to get one or two to flower for an early plant sale-- does anything think that could work?
