Camellias
in Plants
Hi all,
I purchased four Camellia Japonicas in pots a few days ago. I have since noticed that one of them has black, vein like structures on the majority of its leaves. The other three don't seem to have this. Should I be concerned? If so, what can I do to get rid of them? Pictures attached.
Thanks.

I don't know what size they are, but camellias can be expensive, and that doesn't look healthy at all. You've only had it five minutes so it's not something that's happened in your care
It's not something I've ever seen, but camellias grow like weeds in our climate here, and don't generally have any problems.
You could take a look at the RHS advice to see if anything looks similar

It's always harder to keep them in pots though, so unless you have very alkaline soil, it's worth getting them in the ground.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
