    Sorry @BlueBirder for not replying sooner. I’ve only just caught up on this thread and managed to delete your notification.  The wisteria is in a pot 14” diameter and is about 3’ tall.  I bought it as a standard about 10 years ago and it’s always been in a pot. I’ve actually just started training another wisteria I bought as a standard but don’t know whether it will work or not

    Not sure wisteria would ever be happy in any pot.

    @Busy-Lizzie...thanks and Wow..wish my Mrs Bradshaws did that, but mine are in planters so that might be why.
