Are they anemone nemorosa between the false oxslips Woodgreen?

Yes @Uff, they're spreading nicely in places. I thin out the oxlip seedlings to prevent them swamping the anemones and other things. They're very prolific!
I do have a few true oxlips too, which the bees must have visited along with the primroses, resulting in the false oxlips.

I planted some anemones last year but under shrubs in the garden, I wish now that I'd planted in the woodland bit at the side of me because there isn't any sign of them yet despite the wild ones being in flower in woodlands around here. I love those little flowers don't you?

I grew primroses and cowslips from seed and planted them in the woodland a couple of years ago so it will be interesting to see what the bees do with them.

Your primroses and cowslips probably won't overlap? I know the cowslips here come later.
The anemones will appreciate lots of leafmould, and some moisture in the soil, but I've managed to establish them close to trees in borders. In the garden borders 'Allenii' is a good doer, and 'Robinsoniana' too. They'll do well in woodland too of course. They also grow well in the orchard grass, but the soil here holds moisture, at least until high summer.

Thank you for the tips, I'll try that next time. Both the cowslips and primroses are in bloom at the moment. Primroses are later up here.
Edited to add and both in the woodland despite cowslips preferring open grassland.
