Kalanchoe

Help!  I'm killing my 2-week old plant (a present from my little niece to her Gran(!)). Foliage looks dark green, glossy, healthy; but the tops of the stalk producing a 'head' of mostly 2-4 individual flowers are quite floppy and all flowers face downwards :(  The cluster of tiny buds behind each flower feel like dried flowers as I run my fingertip over them.  I'm a bit puzzled as the leaves look so wonderful.  I don't think they've had enough light as the Xmas Tree has been in the window, but I don't want to put them on windowsills which are bright but very cold.

They do like plenty of light … you could  put them on the windowsill during the day but move them into the room when you close the curtains in the evening. 😊
