  I bought 3 of this type in 2016 and they're all still fine on the south side of my greenhouse.
  I think I'll get another couple of years out of them
  I use thin slivers of wood off cuts on each corner to raise them just a little off the ground to preserve the life of the wood

  I like this one that I bought a year ago, so obviously I can't vouch for longevity but it's very robust and has stayed put so far in any storms.

  Mine's on a thick bed of wood shreddings to avoid it sitting in mud and hopefully delay rotting.
  
  I guess the downside is that it won't let as much light in as Pete.8's

  I'm always astonished at the price of cold frames. They aren't difficult to make if you can use a few basic tools. 

  It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  We searched for ages and finally plumped for this one. My OH wanted enough depth to accommodate her young sweet peas. It has an aluminium frame and toughened glass. It's very sturdy but not cheap.
