Feeding spring bulbs

I planted drifts of spring bulbs (daffodils, tulips, crocuses, hyacinths and muscari) in borders and pots in the autumn, and they are just coming into growth now. Do I need to be feeding them, and if so before or when they flower? Do I need a special fertiliser, or will standard liquid feed do?

You can give them a feed or two when foliage is dying back if you want. Tomato food is ideal, but it isn't really necessary unless they're potted, as they're dependent on the soil mix they have in that.
