Plant identification

Can anyone tell me what this plant is please? The leaves are soft as velvet.

  • I think it's one of the Malva family, possibly Lavatera arborea (Tree mallow)

    I agree with @BobTheGardener - looks mallow-y to me. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Yes malva/lavatera family. 
    Worth waiting to see which one 😊 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
