  • Is everything okay I didn’t want to start  a fight.
I don't think you need to worry @a@annegaelle1998,  You posed a question which has hopefully been answered sufficiently to help you and your Lemons.
I didn’t understand your claims to me, I know that citruses love tall pots and I tried to help, I’m just not used to imposing my opinion. But most of you do not bother
I think the misunderstanding perhaps came from saying that Citrus love tall pots.  They are trees and require sufficient room for the rootball. As they grow, they will need to be potted into larger containers - or planted in the ground. The volume of the container is more important than the actual height.
Offering advice is always welcomed on this type of form - people's experiences differ due to location/climate, experience and plant/garden knowledge.
I don't know for sure but perhaps your 1st language isn't English and you may simply have mistaken opinion for advice - it's easily done even for those of us who have English as a 1st language  ;)
Yes exactly my first language isn’t English it’s French haha but thank you for all your comments :) really appreciated:)

If English isn't your first language then you're pretty good at it.   :)

"pretty good" is much the same as "not bad " in English.   Basically it means you speak/write English as good as, if not better than some of the natives :D

Haha my mom is from France Paris and my dad is from here Québec but his first language was English he learned French over the time and since my mom couldn’t really speak good English we only spoke French at home. So I learned English late like 10 years old I’m 23 and I live where we don’t speak English so I don’t really practice often. But thank you :)
  • You’re very welcome to practice here 😊

You've certainly done better than me - having lived in France on and off for a couple of decades , my neighbours were constantly amused and bemused but they were also very forgiving ;)  I always managed to make myself understood eventually but they learned a wee bit of English along the way too !
As @Dovefromabove says practice here as much as you like.  There's nothing the English like better than correcting someone's language but we are always frightfully polite when we do so.
Only joking @annegaelle1998 - look forward to your posts in future :)

The forum seems to get regular spammers, and your syntax and grammar seemed wrong to me.
I apologise if you were giving genuine advice.  :)
Yes, I do not know English well, but I sincerely want to help you. The pot is too big for your lemon. Yes, citrus needs tall and narrow pots.

I was slightly discouraged by the pressure, but not offended. I am always ready to share knowledge and learn myself, including learning English)))
  • @catrina.alistairrE10E4sl  -  good for you and I hope you enjoy this forum.  If you read some of the threads, you will perhaps learn rather more "English" than you wanted to  ;)  :D
