When is the best time to move a climbing rose that has just had it's second season

    In the dormant season which is autumn until about early March but not when the ground is frozen.

    I would say between now and January/February but as @uff says not if the ground is frozen. 
    Make sure you get a big rootball and as much taproot lurking beneath as possible.

  • Thank you for your input about my climbing rose.  If we have no frost I shall move it next week.
