Anyone an expert on identifying conifers from the cones?

    Sorry, no, but have you tried the RHS experts - assuming you're a member you can ask questions via the website and an appropriate expert will respond.

    It's not for snobs and nobs.  Plenty of ordinary folk who just like plants and gardens and plenty of jobbing gardeners too.

    I agree with @Hostafan1. They look like male cones that have shed pollen. I had one at my last house.
