I'm still waiting for someone to give me one single good thing which has come out of Brexit.
The first trade deal was signed yesterday with Australia. How long has it taken to get the grand total of ONE trade deal.
The BBC news this mornig said it would help with imports of wine and surfboards.
Surfboards? really? watch the economy surge on the basis of cheaper Ozzy surfboards.

Did the deal with India fall through?

Johnson , like a virus is disturbingly fecund. He's definitely a right fecund.

Do you mean he's a fecund idiot?  Sounds like something Mrs Brown would say :D

It's just unbelievable. He was obviously aware of his own 'party' when he was appointed - so it's both ignoring the rules and corruption (not turning down the appointment as he would have to investigate himself) isn't it? I suppose it would have been a bit embarrassing:
Boris (being presumptuous and having already announced the appointment to the press - as he loves 'just getting it done'): 'I'd like for you to run the enquiry for me...you know, find nothing after 2 years... long report that says nothing apart from exonerating me and emphasising how well we did with the vaccine rollout...'
Si:'Bit of a bijou snagette Boz. I think I'll have to turn the appointment down, even though it raises my profile for all the businesses that may want a bit of lucrative lobbying done, it seems that we had a party in our offices as well. What a coinkydink eh? Who would have believed it?! What a whizz bang jape.  Hope you haven't made my appointment public yet...'

I did post this on the hello page last night. Went to see no: 2 son,his fuel supplier went bust, put with e on. Bumph says they make sure you have accurate bills so you don't pay more than you should. They wanted to put his DD up from £52 to £83 per month,he refused, decided to have a smart meter,(I thought phase 2 was meant to have sorted out problems from phase I, he got bill saying he was £1.400 in credit!! Is going to have it removed. He also received 4 different bills,4 different account numbers. Course when you ring, automated service asks for your account number.. He has also spoken to various "humans". I have to admit after making various guesses at his "credit" I laughed my head off. But for some one with serious health issues and little phone credit it's NOT funny!

I think Boz will disappear down the rabbit hole. If Case had a party, don't you need to investigate the person appointed to head the enquiry before the appointment? But then you'd need to investigate the person doing that investigation - and given how many of the Tories at the moment appear to be corrupt, wouldn't you end up with no one being able to do the enquiry anyway? Now there's Boz's way out -'...Sorry, we don't have anyone qualified to head the enquiry...'.

Edited to add: Before someone says it - I do know that Case is a 'neutral' civil servant.
