Is my Phlomis russeliana seed viable?

I have a second question. I have just collected Phlomis russeliana (Jerusalem Sage) seed, and I'm not sure that it is viable. When I rub the large seed, it disintegrates, and I'm left with a small round seed? similar to a Basil seed. Is this normal?
