TREE ID PLEASE

Can someone id this tree for me please. It is on the neighbours side behind their garage and the boundary fence (which they own). This is causing shade at the top of my garden and is also spoiling the look of my Sambucus below it. I'm going to ask the neighbour if we can cut back all the overhanging branches at my side ( which seems to be most of them grrr ) . Just like to know what it is, it has fluffy seedheads in spring before the leaves come out..

I suspect it is a willow. Salix sp.
Pics would be very helpful.

Definitely looks like Salix...probably Salix caprea.
Female catkins...seeds blow everywhere.

You are allow to (judiciously) lop tree material that overhangs your garden boundary, though best to have a good chat with your neighbour.

Have a good chat with the neighbour and make sure you are not in a conservation area and the tree does not have a TPO.
