My physocarpus "Diablo" has deciduous dark red/purple leaves and has suddenly turned a lovely sade of red as autumn progresses. While I am delighted, I don't think I noticed it before. -Any comments please?
This is normal but you don't always get a good display. Last year all the leaves were blown off all my acers and physocarpus before we got to see much of the colours but this year my physocarpus haven't even started to fade into their autumn colours yet and not a single leaf has been lost.
