  • Good morning everyone,
Hope Lily doesn't put up too much of a fight @Ladybird4
@Chivetalking glad the little ones had a lovely time 🎉🎉
I'm off to get a few bits from SM, we don't need a full shop, especially as we have a delivery mid week. Also need to get a voucher and think that's me done for festive gifts.
Have a good day everyone, take care.

Good morning Chive, Ruby and SGL.
Chive the Christmas meal sounds such fun. The small people will be buzzing today as it is their last day - not to forget the staff!
SGL, I need to get on with some final pressie wrapping later then I think I might be finished - kiss of death!

    Morning all,

We've had David Jason overnight and it's a lovely, crisp winter morning.

British Gas are booked to do the annual boiler service today but I'm guessing it is at least two years since they've been. Fingers crossed they turn up and one of the appointments that I've made actually happens.

Not long back from the Vets. Catching Lily was much easier today as I cut off all her escape routes once she graced me with her presence. When we got into the surgery and Lily reluctantly got out of her carrier (don't read this Hazel) the Vet discovered that she had done a little panic poo. Luckily it was not of the diarrhoea type so it was eaily dealt with. Once more her lungs were pronounced clear (relief) though she does have a snuffly cold. The Vet discovered an unusual heartbeat this time. Apparently her heart just skips a beat now and again. As I want her to have her teeth scaled and polished I have got to take her in in a month so her heart can be checked again. They won't do the dental work until they are sure her heart is OK so meantime I will have to put up with her stinky breath which could seriously melt plastic! She had her injection and then it was home time. I had to have a restorative cup of tea!
Have a safe journey today Busy - how exciting the prospect of staying with family members must be.
Good to see you Biglad, hope the service engineer turns up. Mine is due January 17th.
