Do Cyclamen need dead heading ?

    Yes, the entire stem - otherwise it may rot back into the corm.  (This assumes you're talking about C.persicum - bedding or indoor cyclamen.  You don't need to dead-head hardy cyclamen though.)

    Take care removing the stem as new ones often grow very close to or from the same part of the corm and are easily pulled off.
