Do Cyclamen need dead heading ?

  • Yes, the entire stem - otherwise it may rot back into the corm.  (This assumes you're talking about C.persicum - bedding or indoor cyclamen.  You don't need to dead-head hardy cyclamen though.)
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Take care removing the stem as new ones often grow very close to or from the same part of the corm and are easily pulled off.
