What are these plants?

Just moved in to a new house with a lovely if rather overgrown garden. I've been trying to identify this climber - does anyone know what it is and how and when to prune it back? Also, in the greenhouse there's what looks like a grapevine although there are no fruits

The first looks like a clematis of some sort ... it may be an early flowering one so I wouldn't prune it yet or you'll lose the flowers.
Yes, the second is a grape vine. I wouldn't prune it yet ... wait until it's dropped all it's leaves and then you should be better able to see the method used to prune it in the past ... if you can post a photo of the whole vine when it's bare hopefully we can suggest they way to proceed.
