plant id please

Hi can anyone tell me what this plant/flower is please, its very similar to a gazinia, its still flowering with different coloured flowers. My wife who is the gardener is now blind and i havent a clue but im learning so i can help her!

They are in a trough approx 18inches long, we only grow things in pots as we do not have a large garden area, we planted them in may (and forgot to label them).
Will take your advice and move them into a small greenhouse to overwinter.
