Plant ID please

Can someone please advise on whether this is a rambling or climbing rose?  My friend has inherited it.  Simple scented white flowers in early Summer.  Just not sure if we should prune now or not!

    If it just produces a single flush of flowers in early summer, then it's more likely to be a rambling rose.

    Looks like a rambler it's got 7 leaflets which are far more common on ramblers. No pruning required just tie in stems

    My friends are keen to keep it under control as it was burrowing into next door's fence.  I just gave it a trim.
