Green Thumb Again

I thought I would restart the discussion on Green Thumb Lawn 'Care'.
I have been with GT for 7 years and spent over £2,000 for the 'lush lawn'. A year ago they scarified my lawn and ripped the surface off it completely as it was too wet to scarify. Then in August the over applied the summer treatment and killed much of the lawn leaving large brown dead areas which have yet to regrow.
All I asked was for around £100 which was denied by the general manager and directors.
Dreadful customer service and this year a truly awful product that has killed our grass twice.

That looks like careless uneven application rather than a poor product, to me.

People actually pay 2K to have a nice lawn?

I read it as the £2K was over 7 years. That'd be something like £100 per visit, three visits per year, which is not too bad if someone doesn't have the time or ability to do it themselves.
If I'd paid someone to do lawn maintenance and they'd left it looking like that I'd have been very very disappointed. I would expect a reputable company to at least offer to come back, rake out the dead stuff and topdress and re-seed the bits that they killed. Too late this year for seed to germinate now though.
