Good Evening All

We have inherited a very old damson tree which is just about producing very rich fruit, 3.5kg ish. What a treat!
We also have four self seeded young saplings producing a small handful each. They have established themselves a couple of metres away.
I would be very grateful if any of you could advise how I could look after the old tree. We live in Cumbria so we have plenty of rain water. The air is clean and we have lichen growing on the tree.
I look forward to reading any posts. Thank you.

We had several of those, some of which produced some fruit. Once we removed them, the the "mother" tree started to produce much more fruit.
