I have two of these bins and I was terrified at the idea of rats so have lined the bottoms with rodent proof wire. Good luck with the eviction!
  • Update: Nature has taken its course. We've been seeing a neighbour's cat hanging around in our garden and today there is a disemboweled rat lying on our garden path..... Now how do we dispose of the corpse please?  :s:s

I'd put the corpse in the compost bin.  I once found a dead blackbird and put it in the bin and it rotted down with no problem.  Found the skull when shovelling out some compost a couple of years later.
