Open compost bag full of slug or snail eggs

    Sure they’re not fertiliser balls?   They put those in some composts.

    Definitely eggs. 
    No chicken keepers in this part of London as far as I know.

  • Jam jar ( or similar ), put the eggs in with some of the compost and then sit, watch and wait ( you could paint a bit of wood and watch it dry as a bit of light relief ).
    If you look after it nicely, something will emerge eventually - perhaps even a completely new variety.  You will then go down in history because you could actually name it - Gastropoda B3 or something  :D  Don't throw away your opportunity to become a "celeb"  ;)
