Bamboo for goats

I wanted to plant some bamboo for my goats. And that can be used to build within the garden. Is there anything that would survive in WV?

Shame you are so far away, I would have invited your goats over to clear our garden!

Ah, righto. You may have noticed by our peculiar spelling and so on that many of us here are either living in the United Kingdom or are of British extraction and living in other parts of the world.

We do have a few members in the USA although I don’t recall anyone being in West Virginia.

Wait awhile and someone may come along. 🙂
You can generally answer, ignore the location.
    Thanks

I'm finding this all very strange. Your initial posts were all about getting rid of bamboo @adnanaadi645y1i_yGxe [including one in NYC - New York I presume?] and suggesting using diesel to do so, yet you're now wanting another one somewhere in West Virginia for goats.  :/

You also asked a question about problems with one as well, but you haven't responded by adding the necessary photos. People can't offer useful advice without good and relevant  information  :)

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • That's some Bamboo if it spreads from New York to West Virginia ;)

Apart from that, is your main query about a Bamboo which your goats will eat or do you want one that your goats can use to build their own house ?

You need to be a bit more specific I think :)

I definitely wouldn’t offer it to goats after you’ve poured the diesel on it as you said in your other post about getting rid of it.

A new WUM I think, but perhaps a proper response from the OP would help to change that viewpoint.  :)
