Crab Apple Tree

I’ve planted this crab apple tree last autumn. It was in a pot and I’ve planted it at the same level. Now it’s doing this:


Should I have buried the graft? Should I dig it out and replant deeper? Or should I add some more soil to the area?

    I had adventitious roots like those develop from the rootstock on one of my apple trees a few years ago.  I left it and did nothing.  The tree is fine. :)
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
