    We have cranes here, there's a pair that nest about 300m from my house, they do lots of courtship flights before they lay each year and wow yes they are noisy. They are also huge when you surprise on on your field!

    Cranes have taken up residence just down the road from my MIL where we used to walk her dog 😎

    Yes the cold is coming. But that's all right.  :)
    Béziers is on a direct line from Luxembourg! I shall say to the next flock to say hello to you as they pass over here. Because of where you are tui34 it must be cranes and very noisy they are too. I go all emotional when they go in October and when they come back in April. But some now don't bother to go all the way to Spain and stop half way in France. The ones you saw are definitely going to Spain or north Africa.
