Mow or not to mow

I laid my lawn two weeks ago, the roots are coming through and it’s growing, do I top it or leave it until the spring.

Too soon to cut it   :)
Depending on where you are, and what growth you get in the next month or so, you might be able to take a tiny amount off. I wouldn't cut it if it's less than about 3 or 4 inches though.
    Looks great  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I can only echo what @Fairygirl said. Keep off it as much as possible, and if you feel it really needs mowing, choose a day when the grass is dry (that's getting difficult now), set the mower blades as high as they'll go and make sure they're sharp so it cuts cleanly without pulling or ripping.
Did you manage to change the marestail-infested soil before you laid the turf?
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
