Tree identification
Right all you detective experts out there can anyone tell me what tree this is without a photo? Hard I know
I went to a garden centre to buy a tree and in their display garden there was a stunning one that I have fallen in love with. Sadly the staff don’t know what it is and it’s not labelled grr I have never seen it before
It has a pink and green horizontal striped bark and stems. Very unusual . At the moment the autumnal colour of the leaves are a vivid lemon. Presume it’s green in summer and deciduous. Think it’s an acer/maple. It was about 12 foot tall and was bare at the trunk and a lovely canopy of foliage . Stunning x tried to Google but having no Luck. Thanks x
