First of all, don't eat it. Unless you have it accurately identified, in person, by a mycologist then it is not safe to eat any wild mushroom.
First steps in identifying mushrooms include examination of the cap (size, shape,colour), underside (gills or pores), stem and how it emerges from the ground. A spore print would then be taken overnight.
If you could provide a photo of the underside that would enable a rough guess but I must emphasise again - don't eat it.
