Could anyone recommend a rose or two that would be genuinely happy rather than just tolerate living in a container? Not a climber. I'd prefer that it wasn't pink.I Thanks😊
I'm getting this rose, after having seen its glorious blooms at a friend's place who grows them in pots. I particularly like how the stamens stand out prominently.

Well the new blooms have a hint of pink then age to white, but Marie Pavie was my rose of the year. New, but established fast, healthy foliage, subtle but wafty scent, covered in blooms all summer and still going. I have two in pots either side of my front door and they seem happy and undemanding:
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

White with a hint of pink seems to be the way to go
