Musquee De Provence/Cinderella Pumpkins - No signs of ripening!

in Fruit & veg
Happy autumn all!

A question regarding Musquee De Provence/Cinderella Pumpkins. This was my first year growing this type of pumpkin and although only 1 pumpkin managed to survive during the summer, I'm very pleased with results! 1 big and luscious fruit! My only issue is, it's showing no signs of ripening to the orange/light brown colour it's known for and I'm hoping to harvest it in the next couple of weeks before it gets too cold. If I harvest when it's still dark green, how likely or how long will it take to ripen to orange on my windowsill? Would it still be edible when it's green? I've already pruned away all the leaves and vines that might be obstructing sunlight from reaching it. Are there any other methods to quicken the ripening process?
Your advice would be much appreciated!
