Egremont Russet

A friend has asked what should she do, if anything, about her apple tree that has flower buds and open blossom now.

As pansy alludes to, it's likely down to weather/climate conditions.
I had a few flowers on my Katy a couple of weeks ago.
So long as it's not covered in bloom (which may indicate 'something' else) enjoy the flowers while they last.

My Egremont Russet has done the same in the past. It's an unseasonal treat for a hungry bee if nothing else but it didn't seem to do much harm.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • Many thanks all. Will pass this onto our friend.
