Floppy salvia

Hi all, after some rain recently my salvia nemerosa has flopped. What can I do with it please? Thanks!

    You could put three canes around it and wrap some twine around the plant. 
    Or you could buy a posh plant support. 🙂

    If you have any woody prunings from other plants, that works well too.  :)

    At this time of year my whole garden feels a bit floppy! I don't mind and couldn't be bothered to stake everything, but it does depend on your tolerance for the 'relaxed look'.

    The best support comes from having other plants around them  :)

    That does work for most of the year. Most things are still upright, but as various things die back and stop providing much support, and the verbena everywhere gets tall and tilty, the slouchy look takes over!

    Plants here have stayed remarkably upright this year, but only because the weather's been freaky. Things have to be very well staked here at the start of the season, or they've collapsed by August  :)
