Pruning Choisya

Normally prune our Choisya in Spring after flowering.  Is it too late to do another prune now?   We are in the South East, so probably no hard frosts for a while.

I've pruned mine after the autumn flowering and it was fine. Bits looked a bit bare for a while but it grew back quickly in the spring. It was starting to take over a flower border.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Thanks @Busy-Lizzie   Ours always put on way too much growth in early Spring, which is why I want to do a second prune now.

Probably fine where you are @KeenOnGreen:)
We couldn't do it here at this time of year.
